Hi! I am glad you’re here and ready to get started on the tax preparation process. Complete these four fun & easy (aka necessary) steps and I’ll take it from there.Get Started
Step 1: Sign the engagement letter
Put a ring on it! Please complete the engagement letter and pay the retainer fee of $350 to start the process. This retainer will be applied to your final tax preparation fees, with any remaining balance due upon completion of your tax project.
Step 2: Fill out the organizer
If you are hiring me for individual tax preparation, fill out the online tax organizer. If you are hiring me for business tax preparation, please skip this step.
Step 3: Upload your docs
Upload your tax documents to my secure portal. For business tax preparation, also add me to your QuickBooks or Xero accounts.
Step 4: Give me the Green light
Paid your retainer? Completed your organizer? Provided all the documents? Congratulations! Now, please email me to confirm that you have completed all the steps so that I can begin working on your return.
What happens after you give me the green light? Each client is added to the queue based on when they provide me with the green light. I generally don't start work until you notify me that you have uploaded all documents to me. Throughout the tax preparation process, I might request additional information from you. After finalizing your return, we'll have a conversation about your tax situation where I will provide you with tax tips for the future. Then, there are just two things left: signing the forms and paying the balance.
