Hi! I am glad you’re here and ready to get started on the tax preparation process. Complete these four fun & easy (aka necessary) steps and I’ll take it from there. Please note: this page is for individual tax returns only. Contact me separately for business, gift or trust tax returns.
Step 1: Sign the engagement letter
Complete the engagement letter and pay the retainer of $350 to start the process. This retainer will be applied to your final tax preparation bill. Any remaining balance is due upon completion of your tax return.
Step 2: Fill out the organizer
Fill out a tax questionnaire to make sure you don't miss anything important on your tax return.
Step 3: Upload your docs
Quickly upload your tax documents to my online portal. No additional software, account creation, or password is needed.
Step 4: Give me the Green light
Paid your retainer? Completed your organizer? Provided all the documents? Now, please email me to confirm that you have completed all the steps so that I can begin working on your return.
What happens after you give me the green light? Each client is added to the queue based on when they provide me with the green light. I generally don't start work until you notify me that you have uploaded all documents to me. Throughout the tax preparation process, I might request additional information from you. After finalizing your return, we'll have a conversation about your tax situation where I will provide you with tax tips for the future. Then, there are just two things left: signing the forms and paying the balance.
